We're primarily based in Telford but we travel to Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Church Stretton, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and more. If there is sufficient demand we will base our lessons at a venue of your choice e.g. a village hall or parish rooms or private house.
Exam tuition or personal interest.
Italian study of interesting stimulating topics using a variety of methods and materials.
Maria-Teresa
Ciao, my name is Maria-Teresa and I was born and grew up in Italy. I have been living in
the West Midlands since 1996. Before that I worked in the banking sector for 3 years in
the City of London and 5 years in Frankfurt am Main. My husband is English and we have
three children. While at home I studied translation with the City of London University
and computer skills with Learndirect. I went back to work in 2006, gaining my CTLLS
qualifications and teaching Italian at different level in the adult education sector (Telford
College of Arts and Technology, Stafford College and Walsall Adult and Community
College).
Helen Liebscher
I was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire but lived and worked in Austria, Switzerland and Italy in the
tourist industry for 5 years. I loved the excitement of living in (Italian) Switzerland and
then Italy. I have been teaching Beginners Italian for 4 years and love the language and
the country.
We are often asked about the topics that you study during the course. Enclosed is a list of the possible topics, we call these the ësurvival topicsí because they enable you to survive i.e. cope with day to day events. However the possibilities are too numerous to list!
